My Friend's Wedding at St. Angela's Chapel

Here we are, back at my friends Vivin & Wiyanto's wedding and as promised I will describe the decor and fripperies now.. At the entrance a flower carpet (made from ordinary carpet with artificial white flower petals glued on it) welcome and lead us...

All the way to the altar...

Unlike at St. Peter's Cathedral, The bridal seats here were covered in white lace and satin..

Here's the altar centerpiece. This long arrangement style was everywhere last year, but I don't know this year...

The left side of the pictures above is detail of candle stand at the antechamber, located before the entrance door and picture on the right is detail of the aisle chair floral arrangements. All the floral decor were in pastel color, dominantly white with soft pink hue on them. As you can see for the white hue, they used rose, chrysanthemum and a bit of baby breath (for the communion and the altar only). For pink hue : lily casablanca, gerberra, and carnation were used. Small green puma and the foliage used was ruscus, philodendron and five finger's leaf.

The right picture is the detail of floral stand far behind the altar, near the tabernacle and the left picture is detail of floral arrangement below Jesus/Maria statues..

For the communion

After communion and final blessing by the pastor, the couple proceed to the statues of Maria and Jesus to lit the candles (number 6)..

And here's the swan ring pillow and tray with religious relics which will be blessed with holy water.

Overall, the wedding mass went beautifully, with my favourite moment was when one of the choir girl sang 'Hanya Satu' while the couple asked their parents for blessing, aww... so sweet.. Lastly, congratz to you guys and live happily ever after!!!!

Wedding mass lead by Pastor Basillio Hendra Kim, OSC

Hi!! Welcome to http://flowerdeily.blogspot.com. It is a floral design blog created and managed by Flo and little Flo. We have the same passion in any kinds that related to flowers especially Flo as she has been joining in a group of floral designers for church for dozen years. We wish to share our thought in flower arrangement, exchanging floral ideas and hopefully this can be an inspiration for your daily life, housing decor and of course for your wedding. Thanks so much for stopping by.
