Have you ever been seated at a party and find it difficult to chat with the person in front of you ? If you ever have, did it because of the table that decorated with a flower centerpiece in the middle?
Yes, flower centerpieces will make a table look elegant but they're not as so easy to be made. Small centerpiece will look not proportioned, while large centerpiece will block each others views, such a dilemma, isn't it? That's why I shouted with glee when looking at this table centerpiece at Dorothea's flower convention.
It consists of three small white theme flower arrangements connected one another by sort of vines and curly willow. It's low enough to ensure conversation goes smoothly, but still looks united as a whole as a large centerpiece.
this is how the table flower look from the front. You can easily see that the curly willow is the focal point of this centerpiece. Without it, they will look like three ordinary white centerpieces, just add the curly willow and voila! They look like a fusion between simple flower centerpiece and ikebana.
Not many flowers were used, and this is what I love about them. Mainly they used white gladiolus, with the green top and the white blooms separated. Next is the flowers of rose apple which is in Indonesia we call it 'jambu air' (you just can't imagine, neither can I!), and sort of vines with tiny watermelon-like fruit attached on it. Up close, the fruit looks so cute! Yes, this is important too, when you're seated, you will see these tiny fruit in detail and of course, curly willow that connected them together.
Up close of the flower arrangements in case you want to replicate them at home.
