Wedding Church Decor: White - Yellow

We’re back on the wedding church décor. And now it’s a white – yellow theme.

Look at these lilies oriental Casablanca which combined with anthurium Angel. They look so white and pure. And perfect shape, too. Right?

The flowers used are lilies oriental Casablanca, anthurium of Angel, roses of Avalance, Universe, Mohana, white snapdragon, hydrangea, white carnations and gypsophila while the foliage is ivy, phillo sellum and leather leaf. The lilies are the focus here, if rose will be the main flower for your wedding, you can view some real decoration sample here

White – Yellow Theme Wedding Church Décor on Advent

As we mentioned before, during Advent there were still marriage ceremonies at the Cathedral St. Peter. Therefore, Margriet team should have to prepare the decor for them too. And this was some of the pictures we documented.

Some of the materials used are golden heliconia, cigar flowers, roses of Mohana, and peacock.

Church Décor: The National Bible Month

Time goes by very quickly, right guys? We have already been in the fourth week of September. And September is stated by the Catholic church of Indonesia as the month of the Bible. The theme of the National Bible Month of 2012 is 'Witnessing the Miracle of God'

Just like its name, so every activity done in this month should be focused on the Holy book, no exception the eucharist  and so is the decor. The Bible is put on a special table. And the table is placed in the front, a bit on the right side of the altar (image above).
The flowers arrangement in front of the altar (image below). The flowers used are white lilies, roses of Avalanche and Aleandra, two kinds of gerberas (white and yellow, which the last is called Mamot), while the foliage is sprengeri, dracaena, philodendron and leather leaves. Overall, those flowers give shades of white-yellow.

The Divine Mercy Sunday

A week after the Easter Sunday is the feast of Divine Mercy or in Indonesian it's called as 'Hari Raya Kerahiman Ilahi'. Actually, it's preceded by Novena to The Divine Mercy during 9 days in a row which begins on Good Friday. And a different intention of the souls will be prayed each day.

After 9 days held Novena to The Divine Mercy, St. Peter Cathedral Church is now getting ready with the feast. A big picture of the Divine Mercy placed on the right side of the altar and so was a long flower arrangement.

These are the pictures of The Divine Mercy up close

Overall look and detail pictures of the big Easter candle which placed beside Altar.

This is the flower arrangement in front of the announcer table.

The overall look of the flower arrangement in front of Mary statue (left image) and the close up (right image). From different point of view, the statue of Mary here looks more charming, doesn't it?

The materials used are lilies, anthurium, hydrangea, gerbera, spray carnation, roses, shamrock, sena, ivy, schefflera and dracaena.

Wedding Decor: Orange-Yellow Theme

Cute, isn't it? This heart shaped congratulatory wreath is not part of the church decor, but I put it on the post because in Bandung I've rarely seen congratulatory flowers other than the usual board flowers. Made by Zahraa Floral & Decoration, the  wreath comprised of pink roses and carnations, white chrysanthemums and daisies and filled with foliage. I do hope cute congratulatory flowers like this used more often in the future!

Back to the usual wedding church decor, this is how the decor look from the entrance. Bright orange hued colour that can be seen from a far...

The side and front view of the flower centerpiece in front of the altar

So bright and colourful!! Love it, orange really good to brighten a room, especially under the afternoon light. The flowers used are rose mohana, anthurium, hydrangea, lily sorbone, yellow and white snapdragon, statice. The foliage is ruscus, phylodendron and 'song of India' or dracaena reflexa. The picture below is the flower arrangement in front of the psalmist altar.

The floral design at Mary's statue and the close-up.  Here, it didn't use lily sorbone but orange gerberas instead.

Close-up detail on the candles stand flowers and the floral design for chairs. Besides the flowers mentioned above, they also used poms, leather leaves and scheflera for the chair decor.

The wedding bouquet and bridal candle, very tropical in bold colours
