Pink-Fuschia Theme Wedding Church Décor (2)

Hi guys, here’s another wedding flower décor in Pink-Fushia theme. Some of you might say,’ again?’ and then muttered. Wait ... don't hastily be disappointed, guys, as this time Team Margriet used 3 different colors of lilies namely Sorbonne, Stargazer and Casa Blanca. The color gradation looks nice though not distinctly seen in far distance. However, it looks different than the usual of course and could be your consideration choose the wedding theme. Check it out.

By the way, the existence of the two candles on the tray were kinda weird because if it's meant as unity candle, it's supposed consists of one big and two small candles. More over, unity candle is usually lit when the marriage ceremony took place at mid, so it should be carefully prepared and placed separately, far from the objects flammable such as wrapping paper, ribbon etc. Should not use flammable material like wooden or bamboo for the unity candle container unless for decorative necessity only, just like the one above.

Anyway, the design of the ring pillow is cute and romantic, not to mention the doggy on it, really adorable and so are the rosary and the shiny gold-plated letters, the initial name of the bride and groom I guess. Unfortunately, we don't know the designers of those beautiful items.

Wedding Church Decor: Red Tropical for Pentecost

Red is the liturgical color for this day, so for Pentecost this year we also decided to choose red tropical color  combined with other bold color such as orange and yellow. The materials used are heliconia or we call  it as 'Pisang Bugis', anthurium, roses, gerberas, daisies, green puma and a bit of baby's breath only for wedding ceremony decor such as hand bouquet, candle, chair and pew decoration.

This was the flower arrangement in front of the angel which placed on the right and left side of the sacristy table. We decorate the back of altar area only at big events such as Christmas, easter, Pentecost etc so not every week we have a chance to decorate the twin angels.

Because there was a ceremony of marriage a day before the Pentecost, so we also had to make decoration for the wedding ceremony such as these chairs and pews. The image below was the close-up of chairs and pews.

The bouquet and candle for bride and groom only consisted of red roses as the request of the bride so we only added the baby's breath to make them look brighter when photographed. The Bible-Cross-Rosary tray (image below).

Wedding Church Décor: Green-Yellow Theme

Hello again everyone!!! This time we will share you another wedding church décor ideas.. this time in yellow and green tone… For the flowers we used green anthurium, ‘Mohana’ roses, gerberas, green hydrangea, chrysants, yellow pompoms and tiny white daisies, while the foliage is  philo sellum, monstera,  song of india, leather leaf and ruscus.

2 in 1 Natural Bird Nest Wedding Ring Pillow and Bible Tray

Our next item will still be a wedding ring nest, but this time they come in a package with the Bible tray. You see, we’ve heard and read all the time how people think that wedding accessories are just a temporary thing that will end up dusted in your storage loft once the wedding is done. So we tried to make a wedding ring nest that’s not too cheesy and can be used as home décor like our glamorous pink bird wedding ring nest and charming purple wedding ring nest.

On this 2 in 1 wedding ring nest and bible tray, both the two if put together will become a box that can be used as storage after the wedding is done. The box itself made of unpolished woven bamboo which can flow natural air...

On close-up, your wedding rings will be held by the natural fiber rope, watched by the birds of course… This time, we use multicoloured birds that looks similar with the real one so the whole nest and birds look natural.

Introducing : A Glamorous Pink Wedding Ring Nest !!

Hey everyone!!! I’m so excited right now since we’re launching our new collection!!! Pheew, maybe some of you wonder why we didn’t blog much these last few days, well, it’s because we’re preparing a series of birds nest ring pillow and flower arrangements so not much time for blogging… In this collection,  our main inspiration is birds and their nests. We’re using birds miniatures in different shapes and colours, I really hope you’ll like it, so here we go :

Okay, our first collection is a glamorous ring nest in pink tone. There’s of course the nest , filled with a small bouquet of pink roses and pinecones. The couple of birds with their long tails perched on the twigs and each of them will carry your wedding ring individually… No ribbons needed, since all you have to do is slid your wedding rings on the hooks at the beaks.

This is the view from the side, no matter the side, they’re still cute. Even after the wedding, this bird nest will be a great decoration when put on your rack or console table…. and if you have a simple tall white ceramic vase, you can put the nest on it, then place it on the corner table ... voila it looks glamorous n luxurious.

On close-up, these lovely bird couples carried your wedding rings with their beaks, cute huh?

Wedding Decor: The Twins at the Altar

Though we're still in the second week of the Lenten season and there won't be any marriage till the next fortnight, but there's no problem if we post a wedding church decor today, isn't it? We chose this decor since it's rather unique. All the pictures were taken on January 28, 2011.

For today's wedding church decor, instead of the usual long centerpiece in front of the main altar, the centerpiece consists of two flower arrangements put side by side, each arrangement shaped like..uhmm...try to imagine Hercule Poirot's mustache divided into two parts... hahaha.

For this wedding church decor we used lilies, anthurium, gerberas, roses, chrysant, baby's breath, a bit of white orchids for wedding chairs, and the foliage is monstera, phylodendron, cordyline, sprengeri and leather leaf.

Wedding Decor: Orange-Yellow Theme

Cute, isn't it? This heart shaped congratulatory wreath is not part of the church decor, but I put it on the post because in Bandung I've rarely seen congratulatory flowers other than the usual board flowers. Made by Zahraa Floral & Decoration, the  wreath comprised of pink roses and carnations, white chrysanthemums and daisies and filled with foliage. I do hope cute congratulatory flowers like this used more often in the future!

Back to the usual wedding church decor, this is how the decor look from the entrance. Bright orange hued colour that can be seen from a far...

So bright and colourful!! Love it, orange really good to brighten a room, especially under the afternoon light. The flowers used are rose mohana, anthurium, hydrangea, lily sorbone, yellow and white snapdragon, statice. The foliage is ruscus, phylodendron and 'song of India' or dracaena reflexa. The picture below is the flower arrangement in front of the psalmist altar.

Close-up detail on the candles stand flowers and the floral design for chairs. Besides the flowers mentioned above, they also used poms, leather leaves and scheflera for the chair decor.

Wedding Decor This Week: A Green Tone Flower Decor

A bit different from the usual wedding church decor dominated with flowers, today we will show you a green tone flower decor that mainly used leaves instead of flowers.

Although not many flowers used, the decor still looks elegant. So don't be afraid to ask your florist for leaves decoration if you want a green theme wedding. Shown here are side and front views of the flower centerpiece in front of the altar.

Details of flower arrangement in front of the psalmist altar. Flowers and leaves used on the decor are white gerbera, chrysant, kermit, schefflera, phillodedron, bromelia and dracaena reflexa or in Indonesia usually called as 'song of india'.

Too bad the floral designers' name is unknown, but I think their ideas to use fresh flower decoration on both ring pillow and bible tray is great! My only curiosity is how they gonna put the rings.. mmm... on top of the flower petals, perhaps?

Wedding Decor This Week: Wedding Flowers orange theme

Tired..tired..tired...I've been planning to blog about this wedding flower decoration yesterday right after the decor finished but ended up sleeping instead heh.. heh.. 4 bride and groom will be married in this weekend in St. Peter Cathedral...Wheeww!!! been up since morning and start decorating at 8 am and there was only 5 of us (including our coordinator Mrs. Diana) yesterday... the morning had been rather cold and gloomy, but my heart started skipping and my mood instantly brightening when these babies waiting up for me...

Yeah, their bright colours and tantalizing smell definitely a mood booster, alright... the theme today is yellow-orange but still in soft tone, that's why we used aliandra roses and light yellow gerbera combined with universe roses, abalan roses, white casablanca, white snapdragon, euro, pink gerbera and hortentia except for the second wedding which asked for a bit of red for bouquet and candle for Mother Mary.

Here's the front view of the wedding flower centerpiece in front of the altar, a bit of kristusdoren hanging on either sides and in front, while the white snapdragon placed straight up as well protruding at the left and right tip. White Casablanca was placed at the center at the front as a focal point of view. And the orange and pink roses placed a little bit in group while a few of white roses was spread. Hortensia and song of India were placed to fill the empty space. And if you look carefully, this flower arrangement was formed like the letter of 'm', the initial word of married, or looks similar to bird being swooped down. Very surprising, isn't it? Just kidding...

And this is a close up view on the wedding flower centerpiece. You can see the orange nuance but the colour's not so bold as to detract attention from the bride and groom...

A simple yellow-golden theme Bible, cross and rosary bamboo tray...a bit too simple to my taste but it's well coordinated with the flower theme, I've seen lots of mismatched theme between the wedding flower with the ring pillow and Bible tray before.

Well, I'm off now to do more resting and preparing next post on wedding bouquet inspiration, yes, I do noticed that we haven't done any post on wedding bouquet yet but that will be rectified soon !! there will even be a step by step on a simple bouquet for you who wants to make your own bouquet, so be patient, ok?
